Steve--thanks for the nod for our podcast! I too am amazed and awed by the power of my personal learning network via Twitter and other sites. I have a friend who says "none of us is as smart as all of us"--how very true. Your staff is lucky to learn from you and with you!

Yo Steve! You just made my day. Great post! The professional development that happens almost incidentally through podcasting and social networking is really significant. Hope things continue to go well and grow for you.

Even though I enjoy the collaboration with my peers on site, it is terrific to have a network of bright and motivated educators across the country online to bounce ideas off of at any time. Welcome to the blogosphere.

I am in education myself (I teach @ ulatina) and even at tech teaching is really hard to get not only teachers but management to back up and encourage world communication. To be up for a collaborative grow and excel together.

Its great u are putting ur 2 cents in this area specially making a difference from cr!

If anything I am up to help u out in anyway I can!

Keep it up!

Twitter done the same thing for me, but to make it work I'm following as many people that deal with my niche area. People who work in Tech and Ed @ International School. It's how I've found your blog and so many good items on the web.

Twitter is almost like a Tech in Ed conference, a constant stream of learning but without the face to face.

I like the 'farm boy' approach and I agree about twitter. There's not a lot of PD available to very part time adult education tutors either so twitter is vital to me.
(Slight quibble - the font on your blog is a bit small for me.)
